The cable-controlled mobile pedestrian signal system FG2 is used in request and automatic mode for temporary traffic control at pedestrian crossings (e.g. in the interests of school road safety).
The signal system consists of:
The traffic signal system can be operated with 12V batteries or 230V power supply. The signal heads are fitted with 12V light bulbs.
Fully adjustable luminous intensity of the signal heads to the ambient brightness is ensured by the automatic night-time dimming. This results in much longer battery change intervals. The signal time settings are adjusted from 1 to 999 seconds. Blanking with request mode can be activated via a toggle switch. Manual control of the time sequences is also possible. The system operates with fixed cycle periods when set to "continuous request". A digital counter records the pedestrian requests.
For transport, the signal heads can be fitted in the battery casing. The two-part galvanised signal masts measuring 6 m high to which the signal heads are fastened also act as overhead cabling unit.
The pedestrian signal light can also be used for regulating alternating one-way traffic. 2x 30 m traffic light connecting cables with fitted plugs are included in the delivery.
